A little about me
Hi!
My name is James John Zintak. When I was 16 months old I was diagnosed with a very rare disease called CGD (Chronic Granulomatous Disease). My immune system does not work well and I have to stay on antibiotics to fight the bacteria and fungus that may attack my system. November 2009 was a very hectic and scary month for me and my Mom & Dad because this is when I was first diagnosed with CGD. It all started when I was hospitalized with pneumonia and wouldn't get better. Since then I had to have some of my right lung removed because of a very bad infection. I am hoping to have a successful bone marrow transplant to cure my disease. I was in the hospital for several months, but I'm now home and visit the hospital every week.
